Steve Ditko's work matures, his draftsmanship becomes more confident. Characters' expressions are more emotive and meaningful (see interior page below). Most noteworthy is the opening splash: a montage of faces and figures encircling Peter Parker. Ditko conveys the hero's life complications with a masterfully complex layouts.
