Don Newton |
Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction v1 Special #1, 1976 - In the distant future, Donald Clayborne hires a company to help him recreate a painful event from his past. Alex Nino illustrates this tale of artificial redemption with sometimes jarring complexity. Both his scenes of advanced technologies and primeval jungles are visually rich, despite being printed in black and white. Don Newton's meticulous cover is brightly painted, almost electrified. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Rick Bryant, Michael Kaluta, Ruben Yandoc, Vicente Alcazar, Bruce Jones, John Buscema, Dick Giordano and Adrian Gonzales. See the for this first issue. This is 1 of 1 Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction Special issues by Newton and 1 of 1 Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction Special issues by Nino. /// key 1st issue / original cover / Nino gallery
