Avengers v1 #8, 1964 - From three thousand years in the future, Kang the Conquerer arrives to claim the Earth as his own. Jack Kirby's cover puts appropriate emphasis on the villain, but crams the title characters into too small a space. His interior art is just less than adequate, filled with the prerequisite action scenes. Aside from the opening splash, the biggest panel showcases Tony Stark's opulent townhouse (see interior page below), a precursor to the Avengers Mansion.
