Marvel Tales #152 - Wally Wood art

Marvel Tales v1 #152, 1956 - Protected by an impenetrable bubble, a Martian brashly enters the White House and attempts to kill the President of the United States. Joe Orlando's pencils are found wanting in this brief three-page tale. Wally Wood's inks offer marginal improvement overall. Only a small handful of panels bear distinction in this mostly disappointing effort. Other artists in this issue include Mac Pakula, Ed Winiarski, Bob Forgione, Jack Abel and Gray Morrow. This is number 1 of 1 Marvel Tales issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Wood or Marvel Tales issues. See also this blog's Wood checklist.
