Thrilling Comics #67
Thrilling Comics v1 #67, 1948 - To study prehistoric man’s descendants, a museum anthropologist visits Hogbite Holler. Looie Lazybones finally realizes he may lose his sweetheart Clarabelle to the newly arrived city slicker. Frank Frazetta draws yet another hillbilly adventure. Despite the gags and humorous tone, his draftsmanship is evident. The large opening panel, centered around a caveman statue, shows his typically fine brushwork. Other artists in this golden age issue include Gene Fawcette and Al Hartley. Cover by Alex Schomburg. This is 2 of 8 Thrilling Comics issues by Frazetta.
