Treasure Comics v2 #7 - Frank Frazetta art

Treasure Comics v2 #7
Treasure Comics v2 #7, 1945 - Featuring historical figures both real and mythical, this issue contains the story of William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania. Consistent with the theme of brotherly love, the last panel shows two men of different races shaking hands. This scene is unusually progressive& for the 1940s. From an artistic standpoint, this early Frank Frazetta work adequately tells the story but overall lacks distinctiveness. Faces and figures are almost cartoonish in rendering and proportion. Quite frankly, very little sets it apart from the artwork in the other stories. Other artists in this issue include H.C. Kiefer. This is 1 of 2 Treasure Comics issues by Frazetta.
