Plop #21 - Wally Wood art

Plop #21, 1975 - This first of several giant-sized Plop issues has all new material ranging from one page gags to short stories. Wally Wood lends his talents to two single pages featuring some hideously designed characters. Both are adequate, but in his unique, recognizable style. Sergio Aragones' two framing pages are accompanied by "It Shouldn't Happen to a Dog", quite frankly the best drawn tale of the entire book. Other artists in this issue includeDave Manak and others. This is number 8 of 11 Plop issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Plop or Wood issues. See also this blog's Wood checklist.
