Lawman #4 - non-attributed Alex Toth art

Lawman v1 #4, 1960 - Alex Toth's short story serves as an intermission between two main features. No stranger to westerns, the artist illustrates a tale of horse thievery and mistaken identity. Toth nonetheless delivers a mediocre effort. The pacing and layouts are monotonous, far from his usually high standards. Other artists in this issue include Dan Spiegle and others. This is number 1 of 1 Lawman issues with Toth art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Toth or Lawman issues. See also this blog's Toth checklist.
