Justice Inc. v1 #3, 1975 - Continuing the exploits of Kenneth Robeson's The Avenger, the team of Justice Inc. recruits a new member to its ranks. Circumstances bring scientist Fergus MacMurdie to their aid in fighting a deadly chemical agent. Jack Kirby uses his penchant for monstrous creations in this sci-fi inspired storyline. The artist combines this with a clear relish for drawing gangster-era settings. On page fourteen, panel three Kirby employs a suitably urban but coldly complex architectural background. This is number 2 of 3 Justice Inc. issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or Justice Inc. issues. See also this blog's Kirby checklist.
