Marvel Team Up #60 - John Byrne art

Marvel Team-Up v1 #60, 1977 - Spider-man teams up with the diminutive Wasp to conclude the storyline begun in the previous issue. The villain Equinox continues his rampage, even as the origin of his fire-and-ice powers are revealed. John Byrne's artwork is generally appealing throughout with few complaints. Like many efforts, his best drawings are toward the story's climactic end. The last panel on page 23 (see interior page below) uses a tilted viewpoint to enhance the dynamism of a diagonal layout. Dave Hunt's inks on Byrne's pencils are just acceptable. Al Milgrom is this issue's cover artist. This is number 5 of 22 Marvel Team-Up issues with Byrne art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Byrne or Marvel Team-Up issues. See also this blog's Byrne checklist.
