Haunted v1 #2, 1971 - An American antique dealer travels to an obscure Parisian neighborhood, only to discover a mysterious doorway to the eighteenth century.
Steve Ditko initially squanders the title page with an unimaginative layout. Subsequent pages, however, are well designed and visually appealing. Characters' faces and expressions play a vital role in the storytelling. Ditko's cover, a disturbing montage of limbs and bodies, is even better.
