This nightmarish cover reveals the chaos of his innermost thoughts. Jack Kirby does a dependable cover design and like his previous Cap issues, is followed by a dynamic opening splash of the title hero. The figure's arms and legs are wildly foreshortened this time, but not to the point of distraction. Somewhat standardized grids and panel sizes contrast against Kirby's powerful drawings. Syd Shores' inking continues to impress, making him an equal partner in these artistic efforts. This is 8 of 34 Captain America issues by Kirby.
