Fury of Firestorm v1 #37, 1985 - When a story reverts to a long flashback, such as this case, it usually means reprinted or older, unpublished material. Alex Nino rarely illustrated superhero books, and this is his first and only Firestorm story. Despite ample length and two full page splashes, the artwork mostly disappoints. Little or no shading flattens the picture plane, and his use of cross-hatching is sloppy at best. His penciled figures and faces lack the precision and confidence of earlier works, particularly during the bronze age. This is 2 of 2 Fury of Firestorm issues by Nino.
