Spellbound v2 #5, 1988 - The Spellbinder writhes in an agonized state while visions of New York City's destruction surrounds her. This Marshall Rogers cover is the most different in tone than others in the series, but also the most intriguing. Whereas previously the scenes were brightly lit and optimistic, this image is more tense and fearful. The reduced color palette of reds and purples heighten the mood while enhancing Rogers' superb pencils. This is number 5 of 6 Spellbound covers by Rogers.
