Wyatt Earp v2 / Four Color Comics v2 #921 - Russ Manning art

Four Color Comics v2 #921
Wyatt Earp v2 / Four Color Comics #860, 1958 - Thieves return to recover their long hidden stash, a diminutive man proves his worth and an indian bearing gold becomes the victim of an ambush. This trio of stories is ably drawn by Russ Manning in his impeccable style. Some of the high contrast scenes are the most compelling (see interior page below), revealing a more graphic side to the artist. Overall his illustrations entertain without sacrificing the storytelling. The three stories are accompanied by no less than five single page works, each informing the reader of some aspect of frontier life. This is 3 of 13 Wyatt Earp v2 issues by Manning. /// Manning gallery
