Donald Duck FC #328 |
Walt Disney's Donald Duck / Four Color Comics v2 #328, 1951 - After a car accident, Donald and his nephews are nursed by local indians. Their concocted remedies transport the ducks back to nineteenth century California. Spanish culture and characters are prevalent in this history lesson by
Carl Barks (see interior page below). The architecture and colorful attire appear well researched and convincing. The artwork itself is excellent, containing a high level of detail that adds dimension to the settings. Like many other efforts, Barks elevates the humor genre to new highs. This story was later reprinted in
Donald Duck #254. This is 20 of 43
Donald Duck issues by
Barks.
