Tales of the Mysterious Traveler v1 #10, 1958 - Steve Ditko's efforts revolve around the theme of mythology, telling the tales of the Flying Dutchman, the pipes of Pan, and the tale of the scuptor king Pygmalion. Each is superbly drawn and entertaining. Of the three, "Little Boy Blue" incorporates the series host into the story more imposingly, resulting in more creatively varied layouts. Ditko's stunning cover is actually comprised of three separate interior panels, recolored and montaged for budgetary reasons. And yet, the final result is more compelling than the individual parts.
