T.h.u.n.d.e.r. Agents v1 #1, 1965 - Menthor, Noman and Dynamo all make their first appearances in separately told stories, then band together for the finale. Created by Wally Wood, the artist takes on the bulk of the issue, illustrating three stories. Each is exuberantly drawn with plenty of frenetically paced action. The opening splash of the last story is especially good, with its intricate machinery and introduction of the Iron Maiden. This issue also includes artwork by Mike Sekowsky, George Tuska and Reed Crandall.
