Weird Science v2 #14, 1952 - After discovering a new planet with a humanoid civilization, an Earth astronaut decides to settle down with one of their female inhabitants. Starting with the opening page, Wally Wood fills the panels with complex machinery and exotic alien landscapes not too dissimilar from our own. Wood's cover only vaguely resembles the interior story, but it is beautifully drawn nonetheless. The well balanced composition is enhanced by painstaking detail. Other artists in this golden age age science fiction comic include Will Elder, Joe Orlando, and Sid Check. This is 12 of 20 Weird Science v2 issues by Wood.
