Heroic Comics #86 - Frank Frazetta art

Heroic Comics #86, 1953 - During the Korean War, three army medics brave mortars and sniper fire to reach a wounded soldier. Only three pages, Frank Frazetta's tale of impossible odds is exquisitely drawn. Shadows and textures add dimension while retaining a gritty realism. Most astonishing is the opening panel, comprised of a group of GIs placed within a perfect composition. Other artists in this issue include John Belfi and Henry LeDoux. This is number 13 of 15 Heroic Comics issues with Frazetta art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Frazetta or Heroic Comics issues.
