Captain Nice v1 #1, 1967 - The city suffers a series of thefts by a villain known as the Rooster. Carter Nash, a police chemist, is nagged by his overbearing mother to go after him. After drinking his secret formula, he gains super strength and the ability to fly but maintains his meek personality. Based on the NBC television comedy, this first issue was drawn by Joe Certa.
