Battlefront v2 #1, 1952 - Set at the onset of the Korean War, an American platoon gets its first exposure to the enemy. Rather than present separate, unrelated war stories, this first issue chronicles all four phases of "Operation Killer". An overconfident army pushes into north Korea, only to be battered and beaten. GIs are forced to retreat back to the 38th parallel. This gripping issue was written by Don Rico and drawn by Jerry Robinson. Cover by Russ Heath.
