Beowulf v1 #1, 1975 - Based on an ancient English poem, a bold warrior prince sails to Castle Hrothgar based on a dire premonition. On the way, Beowulf picks up a siren, who warns him of the coming of the demon-spawn Grendel. Part of DC's bronze age adventure line, this first issue was written by Michael Uslan and drawn by Ricardo Villamonte. Cover by Villamonte.
