Magilla Gorilla v1 #1, 1964 - A pet shop owner has hard time selling his gorilla, despite being able to speak and wear human attire. When Mr. Peebles takes him out west to a possible buyer, Magilla's innocent antics spoil the deal. This first issue came out the same year as the Hanna Barbera tv show on ABC. All stories were written by Joe Gill and drawn by Pete Alvarado. Cover by Alvarado.
