Adam-12 v1 #1, 1973 - Driving in their police cruiser Adam-12, officers Pete Malloy and Jim Reed patrol the streets of Los Angeles. This NBC television show consulted with the LAPD to supposedly portray realistic scenarios, which included both fighting crime and helping their community. Unlike most comic book adaptations, this first issue came out toward the end of the program's run. All stories were written by Paul S. Newman and drawn by Mike Roy. Actors Martin Milner and Kent McCord appear on the photo cover.- - - - - - - - - -
