Tales from the Crypt v1 #24, 1951 - Upon hearing of a young woman's inheritance, Ralph Kearns woos her and takes her for his wife. Still not content, he kills her wealthy uncle and makes it look like an accident. Wally Wood's opening panel is a departure from his usual style, but effective nonetheless. Still honing his craft, Wood adds plenty of background detail throughout the story. His interior scenes are especially good. Other artists in this issue include Jack Davis and Graham Ingels. Cover by Al Feldstein.
