World of Young Master v1 #1, 1989 - Published by New Comics Group, this first issue stars a Japanese samurai-wielding hero from a bygone era. Alex Nino's painterly cover nicely captures the spirit of the story. Inside, his black and white drawings vary in intensity due to poor printing. Greytones and large black areas also suffer from the same problem. Despite this, Nino's excellent (thicker-than-usual) line drawings and page layouts compensate for most of the flaws. This is 1 of 1 World of Young Master issues by Nino. /// key 1st issue
