Wally Wood |
Daredevil v1 #9, 1965 - Traveling to Europe to meet a famous eye surgeon, Matt Murdock instead finds himself fighting against a medieval-style dictator.
Wally Wood supplies the story's layouts and inks, leaving the penciling to Bob Powell. The scenes are a bit more crowded than usual but not to the detriment of the whole. The distribution of light and shadow is also consistent with previous issues, not a surprise given that Wood's hand is dominant throughout. His cover shows effort but the composition is far too convoluted. This is 5 of 8
