Witching Hour v1 #31, 1973 - A fiendish boy finds a book on black magic in this odd Alex Nino's story. The art is deftly laid out and deliberately paced. His opening splash is a masterful composition, introducing the characters within a bedroom setting (see interior page below). Looking ordinary at first, the hollowed-out skull, voodoo dolls and book of black magic suggest the trouble to come. Other artists in this bronze age comic include John Calnan, Buddy Grenale and Art Saaf. Cover by Nick Cardy.
