Witzend v1 #2, 1967 - Both Frank Frazetta and Al Williamson make small, less significant contributions to this issue. More impactful is Wally Wood's odd but compelling cover and his second Animan chapter. Captured and put on display, this half-man, half-beast is drawn with the same skillfulness and gusto as the previous issue. Gray Morrow does an especially fine job with the opening Orion story. Other artists in this issue include Harvey Kurtzman and Reed Crandall. This is 2 of 10 Witzend issues by Wood and 2 of 5 Witzend issues by Frazetta and 2 of 2 Witzend issues by Williamson.
