Gunfighter v1 #13, 1950 - A newspaperman is killed for publishing news about a local gang of thieves, leaving his two grown daughters in shock. In response, Tess and Belle Parker become the Six-Gun Sisters and hunt down his killers. Wally Wood only provides the inks on Harry Harrison's pencils, but does an an exceptional job. Faces and figures are well-defined, while the backgrounds have greater depth than otherwise. Wood's handiwork certainly saves the day. Other artists in this golden age western comic include Graham Ingels, Johnny Craig and Fred Peters. Cover by Craig.
