Astonishing Tales v1 #13, 1972 - Continued from the previous issue, Ka-Zar is trapped in a deep pit face to face with the Man-Thing. Above them, the minions of the AIM organization try to slay both the monster and the savage. Meanwhile, the sabre-tooth Zabu is captured and Dr. Bobbi Morse and company are nowhere to be found. This issue marks the Man-Thing's third appearance and first cover appearance, ably drawn by Rich Buckler.
