Superman & Batman Generations v1 #4, 1999 - In the series final installment, Bruce Wayne returns after missing for decades to reunite with his son, the current Batman. Superman, in turn, meets his now adult grandson, now costumed as the new Nightwing. John Byrne continues the saga of these heroes well into the new century, while reminiscing on their first meeting. Like previous issues, the artwork is competently drawn and laid out. Eight splash pages are inserted in key moments of the story for dramatic effect.
