Coo Coo Comics #48 - Frank Frazetta art

Coo Coo Comics #48
Coo Coo Comics v1 #48, 1949 - In a pair of text stories, a young spider almost dies due to his laziness and a school of fish debate over who should be the leader. As usual, Frank Frazetta's art excels beyond the funny animal genre. "Foolish Spider" is adequately drawn, even within the small confines. "Head of the School" occupies more than a fourth of the page, giving Frazetta's illustration the spaciousness it needs. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 15 of 17 Coo Coo Comics by Frazetta.

No disrespect to Frazetta, but that weird looking green thing with the big yellow eyes and a beak is a beetle? No way
