Mister Miracle #17 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Mister Miracle v1 #17 dc bronze age comic book cover art by Jack Kirby
Jack Kirby
Mister Miracle v1 #17, 1974 - Seeking shelter in a small town lodge, Scott Free and company instead become victims of an assassination enterprise. Jack Kirby's artwork displays a uncommon vigor, even as the series winds down. Two of the three splash pages are especially terrific, improving the overall story. Kirby's creativity and humor even applies to the characters, where he introduces similar looking mobster counterparts to Mr. Miracle, Barda and Shilo (page 14). This is number 17 of 18 Mr. Miracle issues with Kirby art and/or covers.
