Batman #402 - Jim Starlin art & cover

Jim Starlin
Batman v1 #402, 1986 - Written by Max Allen Collins, the Batman finds another man who lost his family and takes on the mantle of caped crusader. The expressiveness of Jim Starlin's artwork can be unnerving at times, especially the hyper-extended "ears" of the Batman costume. Still, he makes up for it with carefully considered layouts and sequencing. Starlin's sole effort on the series is admittedly a memorable one. This is 1 of 1 Batman issues by Starlin.
