Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #66 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #66, 1946 - It's ice fishing season, prompting Donald Duck and his nephews to compete for who can catch the most fish. Carl Barks' drawings are both lively and engaging. Certain scenes required additional detail, which the artist enthusiastically delivered (the school of fish on page 5, the moving ice floes on page 9 to name two). Other artists in this issue include Al Taliaferro and Walt Kelly (cover). Other characters featured in this issue include Mickey Mouse.
