House of Mystery #70 - Jack Kirby art

House of Mystery #70

House of Mystery v1 #70, 1958 - Fantastical creatures appear out of nowhere, panicking the populace of a big city, This story is tailor-made for Jack Kirby, whose imagination knows no bounds when it comes to inventing alien life-forms. Combining characteristics of know animals and insects, the artist leaves some familiarity with the readers. Kirby's illustrations are equally good, rendered in his trademark kinetic style. This story was later reprinted in DC Special #11. Other artists in this golden age comic include Ruben Moreira. This is 5 of 11 House of Mystery issues by Kirby. /// Kirby gallery
