First Romance #42 - Jack Kirby cover

Jack Kirby
First Romance magazine v1 #42, 1956 - An adoring couple has difficulty saying goodbye, while a bus driver waits impatiently for his passenger (assuming the headline refers to a different story inside). Jack Kirby's artwork is basic, but not entirely recognizable. The inker (not Kirby) begins to veer off into a different style. Only a semblance of Kirby's pencils remain. Other artists in this issue include Bob Powell. This is number 2 of 3 First Romance issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or First Romance issues. See also this blog's Kirby checklist.
