House of Secrets v1 #11, 1958 - Fairly straightforward, Jack Kirby's cover nonetheless has retro appeal. "The Man Who Couldn't Stop Growing" feels more like science fiction than horror, probably due to the recent adoption of the comics code. Still, you have to admire Kirby's attention to architectural details. Other artists in this golden age comic include Nick Cardy, Howard Purcell and George Roussos.
