Batman annual v1 #9, 1985 - In Alex Nino's first and only Batman tale, perpetrators of a bank robbery disguise themselves as revolutionaries to throw off the police. Several artists contribute to this annual, but Nino's is the most jarring. His fragmented panels make several layouts much more dynamic. His illustrations, however, are far less impressive. Many of the faces and figures lack craft and consistency, diminishing the effort as a whole. Other artists in this copper age comic include Paul Smith, Kevin O' Neill, Dan Jurgens and Jerry Ordway.
