House of Secrets #109 - Alex Nino art

House of Secrets #109
House of Secrets v1 #109, 1973 - After driving three wives to suicide, a selfish stage actor sets his sights on the unmarried daughter of a wealthy family. Alex Nino's distorted faces and figures are sometimes too extreme and are often distracting. On the other hand, his jarring artistic approach matches the horror genre perfectly. Fine intricate lines and textures fill superbly crafted layouts. His most memorably gruesome scene occurs on page 9, where the main character participates in a demonic rite. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Nick Cardy and Alfredo Alcala. This is 4 of 11 House of Secrets issues by Nino. /// Nino gallery
