Black Terror #22 - Frank Frazetta art

Black Terror #22
Black Terror v1 #22, 1948 - One of the more ominous-looking heroes of the golden age, the Black Terror fought crime in a black costume emblazoned with skull and bones. His feature story is inked by a young Frank Frazetta, providing finishes over otherwise simplistic drawings. Some facial close-ups of characters are heavily overworked while others lack detail. Interestingly, the artist's style is most evident on a supporting character (see interior page below, panel one, man on the right). Despite the opportunity, Frazetta's influence is barely felt. This is 1 of 2 Black Terror issues by Frazetta.

The artist's depiction of beautiful violin playing in panel 6 is priceless.
