Goofy Comics #31 - Frank Frazetta art

Goofy Comics #31
Goofy Comics v1 #23, 1949Frank Frazetta provides three illustrations for three separate text stories. Both "The Colt Who Wanted to Sing" and "Spotted Snob" have a surprisingly high level of craft despite the genre. They are generous sized in proportion, allowing more room for creativity. Although not fully detailed, Frazetta provides just enough information to supplement the text. "Little Brown Dog" is a tad smaller and much less compelling in its execution. The artist's pseudonym "Fritz" and his initials "FF" signed in the corners of each respective work. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 12 of 16 Goofy Comics issues by Frazetta.
