Strange Stories of Suspense #10 - Angelo Torres art

Strange Stories of Suspense #10, 1956 - Alien structures appear overnight in a small village in Germany. At the same time, a strange frog-like creature emerges from the Black Forest. Angelo Torres does a fine job on this tale, illustrating the villagers and settings with care. Forest scenes (such as the interior page above) are especially well-detailed. Other artists in this issue include Mort Meskin, Paul Hodge, John Forte, John Tartaglione, Reed Crandall and Sol Brodsky (cover). This is number 1 of 2 Strange Stories of Suspense issues with Torres art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Torres or Strange Stories of Suspense issues.
