Amazing Adventures v3 #17 - Jim Starlin art & cover

Jim Starlin
Amazing Adventures v3 #17 featuring the Beast, 1973 - Missed deadlines result in mostly reprints for this issue. Beginning with X-men #49, these collected tales shed additional light on the origins of the Beast. Jim Starlin does a terrific job on both his colorful cover and two framing pages inside. More contemporary-looking than the reprints, the art differs depending on the inker. Curiously, the artist signs his name "Starling" on the opening page. This is 3 of 4 Amazing Adventures v3 issues by Starlin. /// Starlin gallery

I'm not 100% certain, but the cover inks are possibly by Frank Giacoia.

Really? I would have thought Al Milgrom. Can anyone else verify?

I can't verify, but the "bold" brush work on the blue Beast, especially in the fingers, looks like Giacoia.
