Worlds Unknown #1 - Angelo Torres reprint

Worlds Unknown #1, 1973 - This short-lived science fiction series began with a mix of new and old material but eventually became a repository for 1950s and 1960s reprints. A barely passable Angelo Torres reprint from Astonishing #54 appears here as well as new Gil Kane/Mike Esposito story. See today's posts or more Torres issues. See also this blog's Angelo Torres checklist.

Without a doubt World's Unknown #1 is

Reese sailing as high as he ever got.

Thought I would mention a 6 pager in

The Unexpected #145 dated 1973.

His artwork brings a density to the

page that I find requires some study

to fully appreciate.

I doubt that the cover is by Romita. The figures look more like Marie Severin to me.

That was my first thought too, but Marvel Wiki says otherwise...
