Strange Adventures #214 - Neal Adams art & cover

Strange Adventures #214 featuring Deadman, 1968 - Pining for a normal life, Deadman occupies the body of a young man about to be married. To his disbelief, the man turns out to be a professional hit man. While continuing to dazzle readers with his draftsmanship, Neal Adams experiments with  layout and sequencing. Four spreads break convention by reading horizontally across the gutter. Some use sharply angled panels for increased dynamism. Perhaps the most eye-catching is the center spread of a woman somersaulting over a speeding car. The scene is modified (by substituting Deadman) on Adams' kinetic cover. This is number 9 of 15 Strange Adventures issues with Adams art and/or covers.
