Green Lantern v2 #69 - Wally Wood art

Green Lantern v2 #69, 1969 - Gil Kane and Wally Wood collaborated several times during the course of their careers. This particular effort is admirable, opening with a bold close-up on the title splash page. Kane's figure drawings are dynamic, with a clear emphasis on anatomy. Wood's inks sometimes omit finer details but without detriment to the artwork. On the whole, the characters and scenes are somewhat softened but noticeably enhanced. This is number 1 of 1 Green Lantern issues with Wood art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Wood or Green Lantern issues. See also this blog's Wood checklist.

Inking of the backgrounds are very good. Simple, but adds a lot of depth.
I will guess that the cover inks are Kane's own.
I think you're right.
