Daredevil #161 - Frank Miller art & cover

Daredevil #161, 1979 - An abandoned Coney Island provides the setting for a final showdown between Bullseye and Daredevil. Frank Miller's vertigo-inducing cover pulsates with excitement. The numerous fight scenes are well choreographed with convincing anatomy and figure drawing. While most of the story is exceptionally drawn, the high point is a two page spread, depicting a wide shot of an old fashioned roller coaster and multiple views in rapid fire order (pages 6-7). The level of detail on this and other amusement park scenes make this issue among Miller's best early efforts. This is number 4 of 33 Daredevil issues with Miller art and/or covers.
